Attorney Chip Milspaw

Luther E. “Chip” Milspaw, Jr. has practiced law as a general practitioner since his graduation from Duke Law School in 1974. He represents individuals and privately owned businesses and advocates on their behalf for the peaceful and legal resolution of conflicts. He works with his clients to identify their needs, frame the issues, separate fact from speculation, distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant, and negotiate lasting agreements built upon compatible interests. Should such attempts fail, he will apply his nearly 40 years of litigation experience to vigorously prosecute all available legal and equitable remedies, whether mediation, arbitration, or litigation in state and federal courts.

Chip’s practice is based in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and extends to all surrounding counties [including Cumberland, Perry, York, Lancaster, Lebanon and Schuylkill.] He is admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all intermediate Pennsylvania and appellate courts; the United States Supreme Court; and  all US District Courts in Pennsylvania. His clients reside throughout south central Pennsylvania.

Chip’s general civil practice includes commercial litigation, divorce litigation, business organization and transactions, family law, wills and trusts, real estate matters, estate administration, and employment/discrimination issues. Since 2007, Chip has focused his transactional, negotiation and litigation skills representing Pennsylvania landowners in Marcellus Shale Gas Leasing and related issues and disputes.
